Meatballs

Tip: If you're not a fan of chilli, serve the meatballs with a side of plain yoghurt and finely chopped fresh mint or dill.

600g ground beef

1 brown onion, finely diced

2 tsp ground cumin

½ tsp ground allspice

1 tsp chili powder

1 bunch fresh coriander, roots and stems, finely chopped

olive oil

Preheat the oven to 200-C. Place all the above ingredients, except the olive oil into a large bowl, combine well. Using clean wet hands, form the ground beef mix into round meatballs and place on a baking tray. Spray/cover lightly with olive oil, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.

Serve meatballs with yoghurt and finely chopped mint or dill.
